Adam Pickett is the Founder and CEO of My One Resource, an online platform that allows users to organize their information – think Dropbox for moms – around five core pillars: Personal, Health, Homes, Vehicles and Finances. Through his leadership, My One Resource has raised nearly $700,000 in investor capital, has six employees and has gone through the initial product-development stage, releasing the Beta version of the product in June of 2015.

Prior to My One Resource, Adam spent six years in strategic marketing at Disney, where he led numerous national promotions and was part of the launch of several Disney Vacation Club Resorts, including Bay Lake Tower in Florida and Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii. He also spent time on the runDisney line of business, assisting in the launch of several events and helping create a database of runners that contributed to continual race weekend sellouts and record sales. While at Disney, Adam’s programs drove over $1 billion in revenue, and he became a respected colleague throughout the organization.

A third-generation entrepreneur, Adam worked for his father for three years after grad school in the family-owned sports entertainment company. In addition to leading the marketing strategy for the organization, he received exposure to all facets of running a business: sales, accounting, finance, operations and more.

Adam serves as Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida. He also sits on the Advisory Board for Founders Harbor, a start-up organization that assists entrepreneurs as they deal with the trials and tribulations of starting a company.

He received his BA in business administration with an emphasis in marketing in 2002 from the University of Evansville and his MBA in 2004 from the University of Illinois.
